2020 Vision's Campus Team
Led by our Regional Directors, and Campus Coordinator Kayti Wingfield, the 2020 Campus Team works to bring international issues to a local focus. Students have already been involved in education events ranging from a "Soapbox Derby" at Emory University, to showings of and discussion groups about An Inconvenient Truth, to leading opposition to a new coal fired power plant in Kansas, and leading the charge for an extension of public transportation in Hawaii.
We also had 2020 Vision's PowerShift events again this year. Last year's tour went across the country and attracted speakers ranging from the former Director of Central Intelligence, to members of Congress and the Senate, to local dignitaries. More important, it included ways to organize locally, to make a difference on your campus.
